In the series of revival of Buddhism, we mean spreading of Buddha’s human-beneficial-teachings Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar and later Rev. Guruji S.N. Goenka have played an earth-shattering role. Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar established thousands and thousands Dalits or Untouchables in Buddha’s teachings to uplift them from the dark age of slavery imposed by Hindu caste system. In present era Rev. Guruji S.N. Goenka has given us practical aspects of Buddha’s teaching “Vipassana”. Buddha’s doctrine has no place for castes or any other sort of discrimination. The Buddhist society of India (BSI) appeals people to spare their 10-days time to see the scientific and practical aspects of Buddha’s doctrine “Vipassana” for your own benefits.

The aim of BSI is not to condemn any persons or things but to put forth the facts before the coming generations. Its sole aim is to bring you the accounts of the unsung heroes of India who laid their life for righteous cause time and again. Through this site you will find the history of real life time heroes with references so that you can easily establish its authenticity.
